Vodafone’s World of Difference program kicks off for 2013

While not Android news, we do sometimes post things on Ausdroid for other purposes — important news about our team, corporate news and more recently, news about community things and the Ausdroid Foundation.

This fits into the latter category — Vodafone’s World of Difference program is something we’d like to get behind ourselves, and something we’d encourage you to consider as well.

What is it?

Imagine getting paid (Up to $70,000 salary and up to $15,000 expenses) to leave your job for a year and go and work for the charity of your choice. That’s what the World of Difference program offers four successful applicants.

The Vodafone Foundation’s World of Difference has been running for more than 10 years in 22 countries. The charity you choose can be your own charity, or a charity that you’ve always dreamt of working for full time.

If you’d like to make a big difference for a great cause, then apply now and tell Vodafone how you can make a World of Difference.

For more information, check out the Vodafone Foundation program page, and have a read of the terms and conditions and the past experiences of other applicants.
