Google Play Celebrates 1st Birthday with Specials

It was one year ago that Google rebranded its online retail presence for Apps, Games, Movies, Music(US Only) from the Android Market to the now well known Google Play branding that we know today. Google Play Movies is also having a $0.99 movie rental sale offering some movies like Fast and the Furious, King Kong, Godzilla and lots, lots more. Birthday Movie Sales
Don’t want to rent movies? Want to own them? I understand, Google is also taking care of you here offering a great selection of movies to own for under $5, with some like City of God, Black Sheep and HappyThankyouMorePlease available to own for just $0.99. There are some good bargains to be had here, SD versions of Jurassic Park, Fast and the Furious and ET can be purchased for $3.99 while the HD Versions of those movies can be had for just $4.99. Happy Birthday Google Play, it’s hard to believe it’s been a year already. I still occasionally go to say Android Market but it’s becoming easier, hopefully the next 12 months brings us Music and TV Shows to help us complete our set of Google offerings.
