Google release the Chrome Maze experiment

maze capture2

Have you ever sat at your desk and wondered, what if I could turn that website into a maze? Well it seems as though someone at Google has done just that. Google have today, released a new Chrome experiment called the World Wide Maze, a 3D maze game where you can convert your favorite website into a maze. It works in a fairly similar way to Google’s other Chrome Experiment Super Sync Sports, where you tilt your phone to control the direction and speed of the ball.

As you can see from the picture above, I have converted the Ausdroid home page into a maze – Try it for yourself.

The maze can also be multi level with little lifts to take the ball to each level, as to make it a little more interesting.

Like the previous Chrome Experiment – Super Sync Sports, you will notice a bit of lag with the controls but not too much to really be a hassle. I’ve been playing it for a little while and it’s a nice little game to kill some time with, try it out for yourself and have a little bit of fun on your favorite website.

What do you guys think of the World Wide Maze? Let us know what your thoughts are in the comments below or send us a tweet.
