Asus Fonepad on sale via eBay Daily Deals for 350 USD

We’re not all that afraid of giant phones anymore. The time when the Galaxy Note seemed big has passed, Huawei is bringing the Ascend Mate (a 6″ phone) to market soon, and we’ve previously told you about the Asus FonePad, a behemoth 7″ device.

If you like the idea of holding such a giant device against your head, then the Asus Fonepad is the way to go. While a local release date isn’t yet known, it seems you can snag one today from eBay’s Daily Deals.

However, there’s a little bit of a catch. Asus announced the launch pricing would be around $250USD, with corresponding pricing around the world (well, at least in those markets where the Fonepad will launch). eBay Daily Deals’ offering is a bit higher than this, at $369 USD.

This seems a bit expensive, but it may be a good option for those in markets (such as ours) where local availability is an unknown. If you want one, best go investigate the eBay site as the deal only lasts for today.
