Asus - TF300 JB
The Asus update train moves ever forward, this time delivering Android 4.2.1 to the Transformer 300TG. Thanks to a tip off from Boulton who advised that his TF300 received the update over the air(OTA) this afternoon, bringing with it a new launcher which he describes as more Nexus looking. From all accounts he is liking the new update.

From looking around the internet and confirmed by the screenshot below, the Android 4.2.1 update for the TF300TG is Firmware Version and weighs in at just over 463MB in size, so make sure you’re on a Wi-Fi connection if you’re at all worried about your data cap.

Let us know if you’ve received your Android 4.2.1 update on your Transformer and what you think of it. Remember we love to hear about device updates, so if you see your device receive an update let us know via twitter or email.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

Still haven’t received the update OTA for TF300. Don’t want to have to root and install myself (laziness mostly), but why the hell has it not appeared on my device yet and the 3g model is getting it?

Got this on my TF300T, not the best update really, a lot of issues with the system lagging, especially in the launcher. Seems to be getting a bit better with time, but how they’ve managed to choke up 4 cores swiping between home screens baffles me. Hoping for another maintenance update soon to fix a few bugs.

I will say that Asus seem to be the best manufacturer for quick updates.
