One of the core features announced on the Samsung Galaxy S4 was the extra sensors to gauge things such as temperature and humidity in a more accurate localised sense and what’s more localised than on the device? This is where app Ambient comes in. The app is currently only compatible with the Galaxy S4 – although I can install it on the Nexus 10 – and basically accesses the sensors in your phone to bring you data such as Temperature, Humidity, Pressure and Altitude.

The App is free – but there is a donate option inside – and is available for the Galaxy S4 which runs Android 4.2. It’s a tiny 511KB in size, check it out in Google Play.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.
