Music streaming service Spotify has updated its Android app, bringing a host of changes, updates and bug fixes.

  • For those of you with friends that insist on using $trang3 usernames, this will no longer crash the app
  • When you return to the app, Spotify will return you to where you were previously (ie the song you were previously listening to
  • When you return to a playlist, you return to your previous position in the list
  • The new addition is the filter and sort capability on playlists, no longer do you need to log into the web interface to complete these functions

These changes greatly enhance Spotify’s usability, addressing a number of user complaints and making the app a lot more functional and desirable for a number of users – could you be one?

If you’re not already a Spotify user – or just looking to give it a trial – remember they offer free 30 day premium trial. Subscriptions start from $6.99 per month.

Are you a Spotify user, or do you use another streaming service? Let us know in the comments!
