I am totally going back down memory lane, I installed a fart app last night. Fart Sound Free, I installed it because quite frankly it amused the heck out of my 2 year old son and really, we all need a good laugh now and then.

In terms of what the app is like, it’s terrible in terms of UI, it is very much Gingerbread based and could benefit from a Holo design – I cannot believe I just said that about a fart app – but it works. It’s an amusing app, extremely basic, just choose from one of seven fart sounds from the drop down menu and shake your phone. Any movement of the phone at all and the phone is farting up a storm.

The app is fairly basic and as old as it is, it works with pretty much anything from Android 1.6 and upwards. It’s a tiny download, weighing in at a mere 638KB, but it’s free to download. We’ve all had these in the past, grab it again and relive the old days of Android apps.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
