ASUS Australia: ‘no local availability or pricing information on the products announced’

asus-fonepad-note-pi

Yesterday we saw ASUS announce a range of new Android products such as the FonePad Note, MemoPad HD 7, MemoPad FHD 10, Transformer Pad Infinity, and Transformer Book Trio. All devices are impressive in their own right, which makes the news of no Australian availability harder to take.

In a press release from ASUS Australia, which outlined the products above, they stated that there are no current plans for availability in Australia.

“no local availability or pricing information on the products announced”

As we’ve seen in the past, this stance is likely to change in time. Let’s hope that’s not too far off. When the times comes we’ll let you know!

Its always annoyed me we have never had the Padphone infinity or any other padphone come locally subsidised from a carrier using our bands.

its one device that I think has great potential.
