There’s been little action with regards to a BIG sale from Google Play for a while. I extrapolated back in May at Google IO based on their numbers that they would hit 50 Billion Downloads towards the end of June, but as June has come and gone, we can assume that Google Play has either hit the mark and Google has just decided not to mark the occasion or they haven’t yet hit it. But moving on.

In Google Play Books, the Deal of the Week is Abandon by Meg Cabot which is selling for $4.99. If you’re into Crime Novels, then check out the Crime Deals promotion they’re running with books for $4.99.

In Google Play Music, you can get a deal on a Pink album, some of her albums are on-sale for as little as $5.99, although the majority will cost you $7.99 and it doesn’t include her latest album The Truth About Love which is still selling for $12.99.

Google Play Movies are featuring Romance Movies, you can own some of these titles from just $7.99. Nothing terribly exciting but you may find something you like. Personally I prefer the Wizard of Oz feature which offers Oz themed movies to rent or purchase.

Google Play Magazines…..yeah, does anyone actually subscribe to any Magazines? I really would like to know if you do, shout out in the comments and let us know which magazine/s.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.

I have a magazine subscription to Freerider MX and to Geek because I got the free trial of it when Magazines were first released here and the subscription is pretty cheap. I had a subscription to FourFourTwo but was never reading them since I get all my football news from various blogs in my RSS feed.
