I`m off to see Pacific Rim today. Giant robots fighting Giant monsters…what else can you ask for? A movie tie-in game? Done! Eliance Games has released Pacific Rim to Google Play, it’s not a freebie it’ll cost you $5.23 at the moment.

The game gives you access to 30 levels of story mode and command of 5 different Jaegers which you can upgrade and customise as you finish of the waves of Kaiju coming at you. It looks awesome but at that price it’s a pretty big ask, if all goes well this afternoon I think I may just buy it.

The game is 224MB to download and I imagine there will be secondary files to download when you first run the game as well. It’s available for devices running Android 2.2 and upwards so if you’re a fan of the movie, you may want to give this a run.
