Asus:JB HiFi:FonePad

JB HiFi are offering the Asus FonePad 3G 7″ tablet for $298. Quite a good price considering the price was due to be $329 when it was to be launched just last month. The oversized phone/tablet is a pretty large device for some, but the largish device offers a unique take on the 7″ tablet form factor.

Just in case you have forgotten what the FonePad was packing, here are the details:

  • 7″ LED Backlight WXGA (1280×800) Screen IPS Panel
  • Intel Atom Z2420 1.2 GHz CPU
  • 1Gb RAM
  • 8 GB internal storage, 5GB Life Time ASUS Webstorage Space
  • 3 MP Rear Camera auto focus (rear) 720p Video Recording, 1.2 MP Front Camera
  • WLAN802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0
  • HSPA+ UL:5.76 Mbps/DL:21 Mbps
  • Radios :
    • WCDMA: 850/900/1900/2100
    • EDGE/GSM : 850/900/1800/1900
  • Android 4.1

You can check out James’ first impressions of the FonePad here if you are still not sure if the Asus FonePad is for you!

You can have a look and pick up the FonePad from your local JB HiFi store or website.
