The very lucky and select few Google Glass Explorers are now even more popular, since the Google Glass team sent out a notification to them that they now have an invitation into the “Explorer” program to share with a friend.

We love demoing Glass to our friends, We’ve perfected our “OK Glass, take a picture” faces so that the shot captures us smiling, laughing and looking chic. Well, maybe not all at the same time.

Mostly, we love sharing Glass with our friends, because adventures through Glass are more fun with others. Here’s your chance to invite one friend to the Glass Explorer Program. Complete this form and share Glass with a friend.

Before you get too excited though there are some rules, the ‘friend’ must be :

  • A US Resident.
  • Aged 18 years or older.
  • Be able to pick up Glass in either San Francisco, New York, or Los Angeles.

While it may seem a small and trivial step in the evolution of Google Glass, it’s not insignificant that more users are being invited into the program. Without a direct statement from them it certainly gives the indication that the program and specifically the hardware is getting closer to a retail launch and being ready for general consumption.

Are you keen for Google Glass? Let us know how you intend to use the technology in the comments below
