No, Ausdroid isn’t becoming the next version of Seek, but from time to time we do see jobs that might be of interest to our audience. Allphones approached us and asked whether any of our readers might be interested in this position, so we’re going to let you know about it, and you can decide!

Allphones is seeking a store manager for their Karingal Hub store, offering a competitive salary and commissions and career development and progression. Allphones resells mobile phone products across a range of carriers, and claims to be the nation’s largest multi-carrier mobile retailer with over 170 stores nation-wide. The role will include managing budgets and maximising sales, achieving monthly sales targets, developing and training your team, managing inventory, merchandising, payroll, administration and banking.

In other words, you’ll be running the show. You’ll need to have some management experience, and of course, a healthy dose of drive and enthusiasm.

Interested? You can read the full position description and apply via Seek.

It’s so hard to get a job in the phone industry. I’ve applied at several phone shops including JB HI FI’s and never heard anything back. I guess I’ll have to keep trying.

I agree mate. I’ve tried for a lot too! Just got to keep going for it and hope you eventually get one
