A new game that has just come over from iOS is called Dots: A Game About Connecting and it’s pretty damn entertaining. The concept is simple simply connect the dots. You’ll spend some time at first attempting to connect dots diagonally, allow me to tell you right now – you can’t, Up/Down and Left/Right are your only options in this game.

There’s two modes, a 60 second game in which you attempt to get as many connections as possible, or a 30 move game where you attempt to connect as many dots with just 30 moves.

There’s a freemium aspect to the game, you can spend the dots you earn on powerups or purchase them with real money, but I’m having so much fun just attempting to do it the old fashioned way that I see no need to investigate any of the paid options.

Dots is free to download but you’ll need to head over to Google Play to check whether your device is compatible or not. A random thought, for a really basic – but pretty – game, it’s still 14MB to download it.
