I just started looking through icon packs again, Action Launcher – my current launcher of choice – supports icon packs, so I’ve been checking out what’s available. I’ve found quite a few so far, but at the moment I’m loving Simply 8-Bit Icon Pack , it’s cool, it’s free and it has a heap of icons in it.

Now, I haven’t actually themed my phone for a long time, so I’m after recommendations – What icon theme pack do you use?

‘Fraid I really don’t like the thwo-back nature of those 8-bit icons, but if others do, then fine by me. I have (and am very happy with) Apex Launcher and DCiknoZ. Love how much I’m able to tweak the look of my Note 2 to have a beautiful interaction rather than the frustrating TouchWiz launcher. Particularly like the 3D look and style in the DCikonZ icons. Not a fan of the current Win8 trend to flat and featureless… It also elegantly handles apps for which it doesn’t have icons by inserting the native icon in a colour-matched frame so it… Read more »
