In the latest Coles catalogue starting this Wednesday 18 September for one week, Coles is offering the Alcatel One Touch S’Pop for $99 which the are offering a Vodafone Pre-Paid sim card as part of the offer for free.

Now whilst the Alcatel One Touch S’Pop isn’t going to offer the latest and greatest specs, it does offer most of the same functions as Android smartphones offered for ten times the price (although, not all of them).

The S’Pop specs are:

  • 3.5″ TFT capacity screen, 320 x 480 pixels (165 ppi pixel density)
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 4GB Storage, expandable to 32GB via microSD card
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot
  • 3.15 MP rear facing camera, VGA front facing
  • Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)
  • 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery
  • Network Connectivity: 2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
  • 3G: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100

You can read the full specs via GSM Arena here.

The offer is only valid for one week and it seems the Alcatel One Touch S’Pop is unlocked, so it can be used on any network without being restricted to just the Vodafone Network.

Does this offer tempt you to go out and buy one?
