When attending the EB Games Expo on the weekend I found a new App called Guidebook. It’s basically a platform for companies to upload events details to an app which can then be used without having to go through the whole process of developing an individual app for each platform – It’s available on Android, iOS, Blackberry and Windows(but not Windows Phone).

Once you install the app, you just had to search for EB Games and it found and downloaded the EB Games Expo information pack which contained the event map, schedule of events and even a map to get to the event. Pretty good deal for you if you’re thinking of running an event and want a good, cheap way to set up an information pack for your attendees.

It’s free and available for a wide variety of devices from Android 2.2 and upwards, so you should be able to get most of your guests. Check it out.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.
