The recently launched HTC One Max looks like it will be coming to Optus, if their Google+ page is a good indicator. Optus has just posted a mini review of the One Max, indicating that an announcement for stocking the phone is looming.

Optus linked on their Google+ page to a US site for the mini review, and not an Australian android news site, that had the information about the HTC One Max hours before.

The main specs for the One Max are:

  • 5.9″ Full HD display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 at 1.7GHz
  • Android 4.3 with HTC Sense 5.5
  • 16 or 32GB storage expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB)
  • 2GB of RAM
  • HTC BoomSound front stereo speakers
  • 4 MP HTC UltraPixel rear camera – 2.1 MP front camera
  • 3300 mAh battery

No date has been revealed for an Optus launch yet, but we’ll keep you informed as soon as more news comes to hand.

I would love to see a buy outright price on this badboy.

edit: $900 :-O

I’m a bit iffy on this phone: 217g (heavier than Z ultra!!), No OIS, hit or miss fingerprint scanner (Verge), Removable back BUT non-removeable battery. I feel this is a big phone just for the sake of being big I Wonder what… Read more »

Several advances like the removable back and expandable memory. Same stunning HTC UI. Have to see it in real life to see whether it is too big in the hand though I don’t think it will be as manageable as the Z30. The latter I can fit in my top pocket like my Note 2. Not sure about the Max but not good if I can’t.
