Every time a new Nexus device is launched, I tend to find myself sticking with the stock launcher, but there’s always a problem – Rotation on Landscape. The Nexus 5 is also not rotating on the Home Screen when in Landscape so I pulled out Ultimate Rotation Control which I first grabbed when the original Nexus 7 was released.

Ultimate Rotation Control allows you to over-ride the default settings and force landscape. Great for any time you want to have the phone in landscape – car mode etc.

It’s a paid App which costs $2.49 for the license, but the free version will let you see if it helps you out within a trial period. For my money – or Kit Kat based Play Store credit – this was worth the investment. Check it out and see what you think.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.
