Don’t get me wrong, I love Pocket Weather from Shifty Jelly – but I do like this widget I found last night – BOM Radar Widget. It’s a simple little widget which let’s you put the radar from the Bureau of Meteorology.

It’s a widget so you just add it to your homescreen like a normal widget and then re-size it as necessary. You’ll be asked which location you want the widget for and Bob’s your Uncle. The App itself allows you to customise the refresh period – from 6 minutes up to once a day – as well as set to refresh on wake. There’s an optional donate button in there to sling the developer – Octopod – a dollar or more. It’s a cool little widget and there’s more coming apparently so check it out.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.
