Xperia Z2 Telstra
After leaking their pricing early last month, Telstra has finally opened up pre-orders for the Sony Xperia Z2.

The 16GB version of the Z2 is available in Black and Purple – yep, Telstra got the Purple exclusive again – on a variety of plans, beginning at $70 per month on a 24 month contract. While it’s not quite as good as the freebie bundle you got for pre-ordering from Mobicity or the free shoes you get from Optus, Telstra are offering Free Sony Digital noise cancelling headset worth $79 when you pre-order the Xperia Z2.

Telstra’s Live chat advised that pre-orders will begin shipping on May 12, with stock due in-store sometime after that. If you’re in the market for an Xperia Z2 on the Telstra network, head on over to the Telstra website and check out the plans and enter your pre-order now.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

I thought the noise cancelling headphones were part of Sony’s promo. So Telstra are giving out zero?

I didn’t get any with my Z2 on Optus either. Was a little disappointed but oh well.
