Xperia Z2 Telstra
The Xperia Z2 has today been launched on the Telstra network, bringing with it an exclusive track from the upcoming Michael Jackson album XSCAPE.

While all Xperia Z2 owners will get access to the XSCAPE album, Telstra customers who purchase the Xperia Z2 as well as the Xperia Z2 Tablet and Z1 Compact before May 31st, will get access to an exclusive bonus track – ‘a PaperCha$er remix of Chicago’ which will be available through the Xperia Lounge app.

The Xperia Z2 is available in Black and Purple and comes with the coveted – for rural and regional users – Blue Tick on the $70 per month Telstra Mobile Accelerate Plan, ith a $6 handset repayment on a 24 month contract.

Online pre-orders still qualify for the Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones, normally worth $79.

If you want to purchase the Xperia Z2 outright, Telstra will be charging $672. You can check out the Sony Xperia Z2 over on the Telstra Website.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

Any ETA on when Ausdroid would be doing a review of the Z2?

Also, will Ausdroid (I believe Chris Rowland) do a comparison of the Xperia Z2, HTC One and Galaxy S5, just as they did last year with the previous flagships?

Would be interested to see how the Z2 stacks up against the One M8 and Galaxy S5.

thanks Andrew, we will prepare a comparison of this kind once we’ve got the Z2 review unit in our reviewer’s hands. Not sure who will prepare it though.

Oh, the review should be coming soon. Joel is doing that.

Thanks Chris. Look forward to reading the review and the comparison.
