Want to tweet from your wrist? Android Wear can (now) do that

bunting-android-apps-on-google-play-2014-07-04-15-10-25-2014-07-04-15-10-32Perhaps custom watch faces aren’t really your thing. Perhaps you’d like to regale your Twitter followers with nothing more than a voice command to your wrist? Well, wait no(t much) longer; while Twitter is yet to port their app to the Android Wear platform, a third party developer has released an app called Bunting to meet your needs.

Bunting works fairly simply; install the app on your phone, and sign in to your desired Twitter account. Once you’re in, you can use a simple ‘Ok Google’ command to send your tweet. Check it out in the video below:

I’m sure it won’t be too long before we can do all sorts of things from Android Wear, including checking into places on Facebook, leaving a post on Google+, as well as all the things it can already do like initiate phone calls, send SMS, send emails and more.

If you’re keen to install it before your Android Wear shows up this week, check it out:

The app was not found in the store. 🙁

The arrival some years later of the original iPhone, and then the early Androids, awoke a new interest in mobile technology, and Chris has been writing about it since.
