Pocket casts hits version 4.7 as Shifty Jelly prepare an L of a lot of changes ;)

pocketcasts41

Our buddies over at Shifty Jelly haven’t been just lounging around in their mansions living off of their millions of dollars in revenue from Pocket casts and Pocket Weather, they’re working hard at upgrading the hugely popular Podcast app and have released version 4.7 to the Play Store.

For anyone who hasn’t done so in the past, it’s always worth reading their Change logs; often with a geeky Dad joke or 2 thrown in.

This time round it reads:

4.7! We’ve been doing this for a while now, and nothing makes us more excited than what’s coming soon for Pocket Casts! There are a ‘L’ of a lot of changes coming down the line…get it? GET IT? We’ll be here all week folks!
But before that, we need to lay a little ground work first:
– more reliable syncing
– improved Android Wear support
– fix for download notifications getting stuck at 99%
– and lots more! We’d love to list it all, but the mean people at Google only let us write 500 characte

If you’re a podcast listener and you’re not using Pocket Casts you’re doing it wrong what are you waiting for? Head over to the Play Store and grab yourself a copy.
