Alldock Kickstarter Project: Shipping now

Backers of the Alldock project, like so many other projects, have been getting enthusiastic emails for the last 6 months since they smashed their Kickstarter goal explaining design issues, delays in production and offering low cost upgrades to users as compensation for the delays in delivery.

The great news is that the Kickstarter project, Alldock; The charging station for all your mobile devices is now shipping.

The project team have emailed backers with some photos of boxed products ready to ship and when I receive mine I’ll be sure to get a mini-review online ASAP.

The Almond+ home router had an estimated delivery of September 2013.I doubt I’ll get mine before October.

Am still waiting for my Papabehr USB stick crowd funded from Kickstarter. It’s been nearly 18months since the campaign started! Ain’t confident of getting the product before Xmas either with the rate they’re going! Biggest waste of money for a crowd funded project I’ve ever pledged to!

My Belkin Conserve Valet does this job, with 0 power usage when not charging. I wish it had higher output power for charging the tablets though.
