As stated below this is the Chinese version flashed with CM11S. A quick Google search would have fleshed this out.

Only difference is the US LTE bands which we don’t have here in Australia.

Sounds like a paid advert or at least informed by seller.

T-dimension have the 64gb for about $446 which is a better buy.

Thanks Damien. It definately wasn’t a paid advert, nor was I informed by the seller. I was merely letting people know that there are alternatives to waiting for an invite. From October you will probably be able to pre-order a OnePlus One from OnePlus website anyway. In future maybe you could share your tips on where to purchase a OPO or other device and we can let the readers know.
Cheers

Jamie. I must have been having a bad day. Apologies the comment was harsh.

I guess i was too informed and frustrated as i wanted this phone badly. It did not help seeing the 64gb version on Chinese websites at the time for aud$315. Massive mark ups for Chinese grey importers.

Now waiting for IFA releases or new nexus.

For anyone who wants this phone camera paradise is around $425 for 64gb.

No problem Damien, we all have bad days. It was a good rant. BTW, I have ordered a OPO after I received a second invitation, I gave the first one away to an Ausdroid reader.

Sounds good but I think I will wait and see on Nexus 6.

This is because its China’s One Plus One, often they can come with Color OS instead of CM. So don’t buy unless you’re prepared to flash CM on it and have limited bands for 3G, 4G etc.

yes and be careful re the radio bands – the Chinese version has different radio bands to the international version. Make sure your local LTE band is covered- mostly for those in weird areas that have weird LTE bands- eg. Canberra 😛

There is no 16GB international version unless you consider the beta early versions that went out to contest winners. This will be just a Chinese version flashed with CM11S.
