Nexus 9 Keyboard case shown off – no availability details available yet

Nexus 9 Keyboard Case
With the launch this morning of the Nexus 9, our minds of course turn to accessories and in particular to the folio keyboard case that was leaked a while back. The Folio case is real and will be coming, but when and for how much isn’t known…yet.

The case attaches to the Nexus 9 magnetically and pairs through NFC. The case is powered by a small battery, which Google says will last up to five months between charges, it is of course re-charged by microUSB connection.

The Folio Keyboard Case offers a stand as well as the keyboard and measures in at 320 x 228mm. The case acts as a smart cover waking when the protective flap is opened and putting the tablet to sleep when closed.

Pricing and availability should be known soon.
Update: Price will be US$220 (Excuse us while we recover).

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

Lasts up to 5 *months* between charges?? Is that a mistake? Shouldn’t it be 5 days or so?

That’s true battery life as wrists rest.
