Pinterest updates it app with a new design & more

Pinterest old vs new

After updating their iOS app a couple of weeks back, Pinterest has updated their Android app to version 4.0. The update brings with it a fresh new design similar to material design along with some background performance enhancements.

Pinterest has provided a full quick list of the enhancements and improvements it has brought to the update which include:

  • Simplified navigation makes it easier to find your way
  • Visual tweaks make it feel more Android-friendly
  • Reduced start up time helps you get Pinning faster than ever

The update will roll out to users slowly according to Pinterest, so head over to Google Play and check your app updates. If you’re a Pinterest fan, make sure you’re following Ausdroid on Pinterest as well.

The app was not found in the store. 🙁
