Google says Happy New Year from Down Under with Android

Be Together Not the Same
It was a big year in Android – literally big when it comes to the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, and it was a big year for YouTube as well. Google has shared a video this morning, which shows some of the big hits that were shared by Australians.

There’s quite a few viral hits in this video, which has been done in the style of the Android – Be Together, Not the Same, Androidified characters, including some Androidified kangaroos. There’s the familiar Eurovision 2014 winner Conchita Wurst, Mutant Giant Spider Dog, Train Dance Party and many, many more. Check the video out and see which viral hits you can pick:

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
