Moto-G-2-Header
The Motorola push to update their phones is on, with the Moto X 2014, Moto G 2013 and now the Moto G 2014 also receiving the update to Lollipop – Android 5.0.2 to be specific.

Thanks to tips from Onel and Jamie, we’ve also had a number of people confirm that the update is ready and waiting on their handsets. At 377MB the update isn’t small, so probably best to jump onto WiFi before downloading, but it’s time to tuck into a delicious dessert Moto G owners.

This leaves the Moto X 2013 and Moto E as the lone standouts from the range but with the rate they’re going we’re pretty sure that Motorola will roll updates out to those phones shortly.

Thanks: Jamie, and Onel.

April 2015 (well, by tomorrow) and still no update for Moto G 4G.

March 2015 and still no sign of Lollipop for my unlocked Moto G (LTE). What a joke.

No update and no communication. If I’d have known Motorola would drag its feet this long, I would’ve bought my wife a lower spec HTC. At least I wouldn’t expect updates that way…

Still no love for the Moto G 4G. Prompt updates are what made me choose this phone for my wife.

Who cares. It’s not worth complaining about every time updates are announced. Just take the sim out.

Aren’t you my hero. A lot of us had already worked it out before you were the first to work it out.

I heard Telstra is not the carrier of choice for updates.
