Well that clearly wasn’t the plan. Sony accidentally outed the Z4 Tablet in their Xperia Lounge app in the early hours of this morning, but pulled the article fairly quickly.

Not quickly enough though! Several tech sites around the world including Xperia Blog were on it in a flash.

Judging from the button placement, we’re looking at a portrait-style tablet rather like the Z3 Tablet Compact. Few details were mentioned, save for a 2K screen with “the latest ultrafast processor and industry leading battery performance” – great news for those who may be thinking about a new tablet in the not too distant future.

I’m very happy with my Z3 Tablet Compact so no need to fork out for Z4 at the moment.

Looks like we’ll find out on March 3. That seems ridiculously thin though.
