LG Music Flow H4 Officially announced in Australia

LG Music Flow G4

A couple of days ago we caught wind of a new addition to the already impressive range of Music Flow speakers from LG; The H4 has this morning been officially announced for the Australian market.

Given it’s been on the LG USA site there’s no surprise in the specs but as mentioned in the previous post it does fill a hole in the streaming media market with a battery powered option offering around 4 hours of playback via Bluetooth; giving you the option to take it to the park for a BBQ or Wifi if you’re in range of your home network.

The biggest remaining question about the 20 Watt speaker is the price. Confirmed via email this morning from LG Australia, the Music Flow H4 will be selling at an RRP of AU$279.00 which isn’t bad for what you’re getting, particularly the mobility aspect with 4 hours of playback.

We have had confirmation that a review device will be made available to Ausdroid soon so we’ll let you know if that bang you get from the H4 is worth your bucks.

This is probably why the Sony portable Bluetooth 20 watt speaker (SRSX3B) has been temporarily reduced to $99 including shipping.

Though the Sony doesn’t have Google Cast or integration with other speakers, which is the selling point of Music Flow.
