Screen Shot 2015-05-16 at 8.41.14 pm
Google is at it again, offering Chromecast – and now Nexus Player – owners a free movie rental from Google Play Movies & TV courtesy of their Chromecast offers program.

The offer is good to go now using the Chromecast app on your Android phone or tablet (Select your Chromecast > Settings > Check for offers) or on your PC – you’ll need the Chromecast extension installed – by going to chromecast.com/offers.

The terms and conditions are available on the Chromecast support page, which advises:

  1. Good for one movie rental from a collection of titles.
  2. Movie Rental may be redeemed only on Google Play from compatible internet connected devices.
  3. Offer expires on June 18, 2015.
  4. Offer good in Australia only.
  5. Maximum 5 redemptions per Google account.
  6. See Promotional Terms for more information.

If you’re wanting a free Google Play Movie rental, check your Chromecast now.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

If you say so. Their about page actually mentions nothing about Australia. It does talk about their love of android and being supported globally. Just sayin.

You have to admit though that the name AUSdroid gives it away, the logo also incorporates a flag from a certain country.

You should have looked at the offer images on this page.
