After originally announcing and launching Layouts from Instagram back in early March, as an iOS exclusive, Instagram has finally launched the app onto Google Play for Android users to get their creative juices flowing.

Layouts from Instagram is a new standalone app that adds the option to create collages from your camera roll. You can access all your photos, or use the new ‘People’ option which automatically shows you all the photos containing pictures with people in them.

At the time of launch, Instagram said that with Layouts, users can get their creative juices flowing to create stunning and interesting photos which can be placed into Instagram along with other social networks like Facebook.

From there, you have complete artistic control. Drag and drop photos to rearrange them, pinch to zoom or pull the sides of each photo to adjust its size and get your layout just right. Then flip and rotate your photos to create cool arrangements and mirror effects.

You’re not just limited to collages as well, you can create photo booth shots, with Layouts able to let you take four shots from your front-facing camera to really capture those ‘spontaneous moments’.

As stated, the app is live and available for users to begin downloading for free from Google Play. If your interested in trying out Layouts from Instagram, just hit the link below to download and begin getting creative.
