Skrillex Live Case
Google has just launched a new range of accessories called Editions, in partnership with Electronic Dance Music artist Skrillex. The cases, launched as ‘Editions’ are available from their newly launched Google Store, but only for residents of the US.

The Editions, come in three different designs, called Circuit Bae, Lil Planet, and Space Shield, which are designed to fit the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, and Galaxy Note 4. Edition cases will be a software and hardware experience which gives you the case, but also VIP Skrillex content such as a free OWSLA album from Google Play and Skrillex updates sent directly to their phones.

The cases also come with a special Live Wallpaper which changes through the day, updating with images from a specially launched balloon which shows images of Earth captured from the stratosphere, while at night you get images of the constellations from your current location.

The balloon satellite capturing the images will actually be given away once its mission is complete. The custom designed balloon, called Nanou after Skrillex’s dog, will be autographed and given away to a fan following the @andorid twitter account.

The cases are not available from Google Play Australia, but will be available through the US store to the end of June. Future Editions are coming and we remain hopeful that maybe these future Editions will arrive on the Australian Google Store when they do.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
