Microsofts Hyperlapse app has been getting a lot of attention of late, it’s probably due to a lot of Android feeling left out in the cold by Instagram when they launched their solution for iOS users. The results are varied, but seem to be quite good – on the devices it’s been listed as supporting. Happily, Microsoft are consistently opening up official support for more devices and there’s a few more to add to the list.
Microsofts latest update to the app – which still requires you to be a member of the Microsoft Hyperlapse Google+ Beta group – adds support for four more devices from Samsung and Motorola :
- Moto X
- Moto G1
- Moto G2
- Samsung Galaxy S4
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4
The most recent update also includes the usual bug fixes, which basically means the Beta group is working and the Microsoft team are killing bugs as reported.
The Hyperlapse app supports a wide variety of devices now from Samsung, Sony, Motorola, HTC, LG, Xiaomi and LG, as well as a range of Nexus devices. Of course there’s still lots to go, and while it’s not official support maybe you can try it out on your handset and see how it goes, but we still recommend joining the group and waiting for official support.
