The Androidify app which you can use to create your very own Android avatar has received an update, which brings about some new accessories and animations to make this years Pride parade on the 27th and 28th of June into a global Androidy event.

The app and the website has a heap of new accessories available including Rainbow boas, glasses and colourful hairstyles, platform shoes, gold jumpsuits and new animations such as Wave a flag, bang a drum, or disco dance. The new assets and moves can be used to create your Androidified avatar and shared as usual on the website or on social networks.

Along with the update to the Android app, Google have started a hashtag to start a global #AndPride with Eurovision 2014 winner Conchita Wurst and Australia’s own Kylie Minogue tweeting their Android Pride and the hashtag:

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
