Periscope for Android updates with option to update profile and login with phone number

Twitter’s social video streaming app Periscope has received an update, adding a few new features and functions to the relatively new app.

A long with the usual bug fixes and improvements, Periscope will now let you login using your phone number. Your Periscope profile can now also be updated with options to change your profile picture, display name and description. Your personal broadcast history is now available and there’s improved comment sync for replays. Lastly, there is now Sound/Vibrate/Silent notification settings available.

The update is available in Google Play now, so head over and ensure your app is up to date.
