It’s a quiet Sunday so kick back and relax with a movie, maybe something free from Google Play, or you can travel further afield and try out a new movie from a cinema, and how best to find one and what’s showing? Ask Google.

In two new ads showing off the Google App, Google Australia has shown off how you can use the Google Search app to answer questions about movies like ‘How far away is Casablanca?’ or something more up to date, like ‘What car does Max drive?’. The app also shows you can find local cinemas around you, which makes going to the movies a little more easy and when a Google Now pops up when you go near one showing movie times, it’s just delightful.

The Google app: For the love of movies

The second one released is just plain amusing. Check it out.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
