Onix Kids Table
If you’re looking around for a tablet for the kids, you might want to drop into your local Aldi store this week with the supermarket chain currently selling a 7″ Onix branded ‘Kids’ tablet complete with its own silicon skin.

The tablet isn’t looking like the highest end device with a 7″ Screen, Dual-Core processor and 4GB of on-board storage with a microSD card slot, but at just a shade under $70 it’s not bad, mainly due to that rubberised skin the tablet comes in. The tablet comes with a fairly old Android 4.2.2 version – and we aren’t expecting updates to hit the tablet – with what appears to be a simplified interface overlay.

The tablet went on-sale in Aldi stores last Wednesday, but there appeared to be quite a few left at the two stores we tried. If you’re in the market for something for the kids, check it out and see what you think.
