Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event announced in New York for August 13th

Samsung Unpacked
Samsung has just ended the last few weeks of speculation, announcing a Galaxy Unpacked event which is set to be held at the Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Centre in New York at 11am ET.

The event is strongly being rumoured to be where we’ll see our first official glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Edge+ handsets. A rumour strongly backed up by their social media promotion of the event which says ‘The Next Galaxy Is Coming’. Normally launched in September at the German consumer electronics show IFA, Samsung is apparently trying to beat the hype train that will be Apple’s oversized iPhone 6s Plus which will most likely be announced in September, to market.S

The event will kick off at 11am ET in New York – that’s 1am August 14th AEST for those here at home, but will be live streamed on the Samsung Mobile YouTube channel.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
