Note 5 - S6 Edge+
With the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ going on-sale in Australia on September 4th, there’s a lot of places to pre-order. Samsung wants to give you a bonus for purchasing the phone through them and you’ll be able to nab youself one of those nifty fast-charging wireless chargers if you order before tomorrow.

The wireless charging pad supports Samsung’s fast wireless charging technology, which though backwards compatible, also offers the ability to charge the phones wirelessly from flat to full in just 2 hours.

The charger itself is worth $89 if you order separately, so this is a bargain if you were intending to purchase the phone outright, though you will have to pay full retail price to get one for free. We’re already seeing some competition on the price from importers for these phones, so it may be worthwhile shopping around before jumping in.

If you’re interested, head over to Samsung’s Australian website to start the pre-order process.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
