Aldi add a 3G Android phone to their weekly ‘Special Buys’

Aldi 3g

If you’ve ever been in the market for a low cost Android device then chances are you’re familiar with the discount supermarket chain Aldi. Aldi have sold a range of cheap (and pretty decent) handsets in the past, though they never seem to last long enough for people to get their hands on them. We know they’re crazy popular, because readers keep telling us as much. Anyhow, if you’re in the market for a low cost, punchy handset, Aldi might have you covered with their latest weekly ‘Special Buy’.

Aldi’s latest Android phone is priced at just $129 and features:

  • Android 5.0
  • 4.5″ display
  • 1.2GHz quad core processor
  • 8GB internal memory
  • Bluetooth
  • Front and Rear Camera
  • Micro SD card slot up to 32GB
  • 3G and Dual SIM

For the princely sum of $129, these specs aren’t too bad at all. We don’t have in-depth details on the display resolution or technology, but we can’t expect it to be too amazing. If you’re interested, you’d best rush on into Aldi as close to the start of the sale on Saturday 12 September as you can, stock of these products is typically very limited, and they sell quickly.

If we can grab one we’ll try and do a quick review.

Aldi phones and tablets are known for having spyware installed which cannot be removed.

Thanks for the article, but perhaps you could consider proof reading it before publishing it. It should say “THEN chances are” and “If YOU’RE interested”. ;P
