Welcome to episode 144 of the Ausdroid Podcast!

It’s been a while since our last podcast, unfortunately it’s just been a really busy time – at one point last week, Ausdroid’s team has been spread across three continents!

We’ve attended IFA and seen a slew of product announcements, and we’ll take you through the biggest and best of them tonight. Motorola’s new goodies are here in Australia now, and “Motovoda” is sure to be a topic of hot discussion tonight in the chat and on the show. We’ll also check in with the latest Nexus rumours before the show is out.

You can also watch us on your TV with Chromecast! Click here for the video in YouTube.

We’re starting a little earlier tonight as the show might be a little longer than usual. Broadcast will start at 8.30pm AEST (Sydney time).

Join our live chat here, or on DALnet IRC, channel #ausdroid. We’ll be online with you just before 8.30pm!

IFA, Motovoda and the next Nexus phones!

Jason Murray

Before discovering the Nexus One, Jason thought he didn't need a smartphone. Now he can't bear to be without his Android phone. Jason hails from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane depending on his mood and how detailed a history you'd like. A web developer by day with an interest in consumer gadgets and electronics, he also enjoys reading comics and has a worryingly large collection of Transformers figures. He'd like to think he's a gamer, but his Wii has been in a box since he moved to Sydney, and his PlayStation Vita collection is quite lacking. Most mornings you'll find him tilting at various windmills on Twitter - follow @JM77 and say hi!
