OPPO, already huge throughout Asia, have taken another step to grow its Australian presence, by entering an agreement with national mobile retailer TeleChoice. The new deal will see OPPO’s latest handsets, including the R7, R7 Plus and Mirror 5s, available through TeleChoice stores across Australia and online.

Better still, the deal will allow customers to purchase OPPO handsets from TeleChoice on a variety of plans on the Telstra network starting from just $30.

OPPO Mobile Australia’s marketing director, Michael Tran, said of the new partnership:

“We’re excited to be partnering with TeleChoice to offer customers even greater access to our most popular devices including our latest device, the R7 Plus.

By having the phones in-store, TeleChoice customers can get hands-on with the products and experience for themselves, the innovation and quality craftsmanship at the heart of all our devices.”

TeleChoice are also understandably fairly excited about the deal. Managing director Paul Reeves had this to say:

“Our customers are looking for choice.  They want the latest and greatest products at a price that isn’t going to break the bank.  I’m confident that by partnering with OPPO to deliver these new plans we’ve achieved that.

We’ve seen how well OPPO has done in other markets, and locally its popularity is on the rise, so I’m sure the OPPO handsets will be embraced by our customers.”

To celebrate the new deal, customers buying OPPO handsets on a mobile plan from TeleChoice will receive a gift, including a $29 shell case with the Mirror 5s, a $49 powerbank with the R7, and the R7 Plus comes with a VOOC (fast charging) powerbank valued at $79.
