Are you over Star Wars yet? Nope, neither are we. It turns out that along with all the other Star Wars integration into Google products, there’s a cool easter egg in Google Search.

The easter egg works on both the web and desktop when you simply search ‘a long time ago in a galaxy far far away’. Once you type that in, the usual list of links in search results are displayed in the familiar (to Star Wars fans) opening credits scrawl. The scrawl has now been filled with links to stories about the easter egg itself, but it’s still cool.

Results are hit and miss, I had to go to Google.com rather than the AU site to get this one working, but work it does and if you can’t get it working on mobile, then here’s a video that was done earlier:
