It’s time to catch up on the Android news of the week, from Australia and around the world with episode 153 of the Ausdroid podcast!

We’ve a bunch of news we didn’t get to from the last couple of weeks – rumours bargains and lies, aka speculation on Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and LG’s G5 flagships. We’ve also decided that we haven’t spent nearly enough time talking about apps in the last little while, so we’re all going to give you a look at some of the apps the podcast team installed and have in regular use on our own devices. Maybe you’ll pick up something interesting!

You can watch us on your TV with Chromecast! Click here for the YouTube video.

Jason Murray

Before discovering the Nexus One, Jason thought he didn't need a smartphone. Now he can't bear to be without his Android phone. Jason hails from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane depending on his mood and how detailed a history you'd like. A web developer by day with an interest in consumer gadgets and electronics, he also enjoys reading comics and has a worryingly large collection of Transformers figures. He'd like to think he's a gamer, but his Wii has been in a box since he moved to Sydney, and his PlayStation Vita collection is quite lacking. Most mornings you'll find him tilting at various windmills on Twitter - follow @JM77 and say hi!
