Inbox by Gmail delivers faster search results to the top of your feed

Inbox by Gmail
Google’s Inbox client is getting to be a more attractive proposition every time Google introduces a new feature. Today’s new feature is faster access to information stored in your mailbox.

Inbox’s new feature will surface information to the top of the search stream to make grabbing that one little detail easy. The search will surface information surface ‘addresses, phone numbers, membership numbers, flights, events, bills, package tracking and more’ quickly and plant it right at the top of your search results.

Inbox will also sort your search results by the ‘Top Result’ before listing any other results in date range, but Google says that they don’t think you should need these results very often.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
