We’re less than a month away from the announcement of Samsung’s latest and greatest mobile handset line up, which it’s safe to assume will be the Galaxy S7 range. The current rumors are that we might be getting 3 variants at launch a S7, S7 Edge and a S7 Edge+. Well, today Samsung themselves have confirmed we’re at least getting the S7 Edge, by listing the phone on their own website.

S7 edge

This line was taken from Samsung’s own developer portal describing compatibility of features coming Marshmallow Edge devices. It is notable that there is no mention of an S7 Edge+ variant. Could this mean we’re not getting the 3 rumoured devices at launch? It is hard to know either way as it’s fairly likely that this mention of the S7 wasn’t “suppose” to be there.

We won’t have long to wait to find out with Samsung’s event scheduled for 21 February at MWC 2016. Chris will be live on the ground in Barcelona to bring us all the MWC coverage we can handle.

Are you expecting 3 variants of the Galaxy S7 line up?
